Firefly is the brain-child of TV broadcast veteran Alison de Castro. For more than a decade, Alison has worked as a write r, reporter, news anchor, and host for network-affiliated television stations around the country, most recently in Chicago and Milwaukee. Throughout her career, she's told thousands of stories. She has covered everything from natural disasters to interviewing the biggest Hollywood stars. In 2006, she helped launch and host a product marketing-based talk show called, "The Morning Blend," at the NBC station, Today's TMJ4. For the show, she helped large and small companies make their products and services TV-friendly. She created new, innovative ways for clients to showcase themselves without it coming off as a commercial. Yes, there is an art to injecting an emotion into a marketing experience without it being " salesy," and Alison has perfected the art, as the show became a success. Alison soon realized that every great business has a great story, but there were few easily-accessable and cost-effective platforms of which businesses could take advantage. But now, with the help of Firefly Media, it's possible for every company.
