I use to volunteer with Delmont VFD in the late 80's and early 90's and Westmoreland 911 would do a monthly test the first friday of every month. I don't think it's every week. It is a CD 3 phase siren. As far as not using them anymore, Not every fireman has a pager. They are expensive for compan...
