Myth #1: Lightning never strikes the same place twice.

Reality #1: Lightning can and in many cases will EASILY strike the same place twice or more.

Myth # 2: Rubber protects from lightning.

Reality #2: Lightning travels through atleast about 6 miles of sky even the strongest rubber would have to be about atleast 2 miles tall/thick/both to offer any protection from lightning.
