Fiq is now signed to EMI Music Malaysia after bagging the first prize in Mentor Season 2. EMI has already carefully planned out an album as well as promotional plans for Fiq. And as a kickstart, January of 2007 saw the release of a compilation album entitled Fiq & Nieyl that is fitted with new songs as well as duet tracks with two of last seasons mentors Amy Search and Nurul.

Fiq is now working on the materials for his new album. The 1st single from his new album "BUKTI" is ready and is bound to hit the airwaves soon.
