We are an award-winning organization that falls under the parent company Finesse Entertainment. We were established on February 22, 2003 by Director Monique Carr and Assistant Carolyn Thomas. We wanted a name that embodies grace, precision, excellence and showmanship that would captivate any audience. The term Showstopper defines somebody or something so spectacular it attracts and holds everyone's attention. Therefore, in keeping with that definition of a Showstopper, we comprised a group of talented young ladies who have a strong willingness to "give their all" and have deep desires to be the very best. We set our standards and goals reasonably high and will never settle for anything less. Our little ladies are serious about academics and social awareness. The majority of our girls are either on the Principal's list, High Honors or the Honor Roll at their respective schools. Collectively, the girls have earned hundreds of community service hours. The main focus of our organization is to provide a positive outlet for young ladies, teach the importance of teamwork and to build lasting friendships while at the same time promoting good health through physical fitness. We have traveled and participated in countless events. We have successfully competed and won numerous trophies and plaques. Also, we've tirelessly participated in many parades and other charitable events held locally. With all that said, The Finesse Entertainment Showstoppers truly epitomizes what the definition of being a real Showstopper is!!!
