Devontee "D-Bonez" Grubb born January 5th 1993 in Toronto, Canada has had a love of music from the very start. Growing up listing to his father rap/beat box and always come up with clever new ideas and family members that were in the music industry caused "D-Bonez" to want to enter the music industry. The age of 13 was when the first "D-Bonez" song was ever recorded in a studio I.C.V now known as The Remix Project, to now having over 300+ songs. "D-Bonez" has been trying to prove to the people around him that he is not just another guy that raps. His whole life he had to concur his own goals by setting high expectations and beating them. By the age of 15 he had over 200+ songs recorded, and at 16 his first song was on the college radio. At the end of his 16th year (January 1st 2010) he released a mix-tape "16 Killing 16's" receiving great feedback leading him to have shows, and receive respect from some great producers and rappers. The respect enabled him to receive songs produced from some of the best producers fro Toronto and his name known to some of the best musicians. During the school year of his 11th grade he had traveled all over 50+ schools in Durham District School Board to only gain respect from teachers, principles, kids, and parents to cause him to gain new fans. With his clean image and music that involves no cursing or negative talk such as drugs, guns, or inappropriate/offensive things, he was able to perform any where to every single age group. Opening a lot of performances and doors for future opportunities. During the summer of his year going into his senior year of high school, he had some great opportunities. Opening for reggae star "Seerani", and having over 20 club performances and 80+ performances in total. Now "D-Bonez" just wishes to get better and keep elevating his level of music and only to get better as time progresses.
