I am a 14 year old musician who has been playing guitar for 1 year now. I am very serious about it and am in 2 bands, Fighting With Fire and Black Leather. I play Blues Style Hard rock similar to guns n roses or Aerosmith. I will soon post my covers of songs such as Paranoid and Nightrain. My 3 favorite guitarists are SLASH, Joe Perry, and Jeff Beck. I am currently doing covers of songs in my bands right now we have made a new version of the Rolling Stone's "Wild Horses". But I have also very recently started writing songs. My Equipment-

I currently have and use 2 guitars:
1. Epiphone Les Paul Special II (Ebony)
2. Fender GC23S Concert Acoustic Guitar.

Amp- Epiphone amp that came with Guitar I really want a Raven combo amp

Software-Guitar Pro 5, Garage Band, Fast Track Recording

I really want to get Chorus, Overdrive and maybe EQ pedals. They look sick. But I don't think I can afford em' at the moment. So my first few videos will be shot on a basic camcorder, Epipone amp (not very good), and an Epiphone Les Paul special II. So It'l sound pretty basic. But that's how rock begins my friends. Eventually it grows into every protool and stompbox imaginable. But that will take time. So for the first few videos bear with me.

I really think for those of you out there who are somewhat new to guitar and are looking for a good, reasonable electric that Epiphone is a great choice. They make quality Les Pauls, SGs, Explorers, and who knows what else. They have in my opinion, almost as or equal to tone as a gibson. Although pros might beg to differ. My 2 favorite Les Paul models are The Les Paul Ultra II and the Les Paul 1956 Goldtop model. To be honest I don't like any SG models made by any company, but thats just me. I also love Mockingbirds, but they are too expensive, I can't find any in plain white or plain red with out any stupid finishes, and B.C. Rich is not the best guitar company (in my opinion).For amps I think the best ones are made by Marshall (obviously) and for those of us who don't have a gazillion spending dollars: Raven, Line 6, Blackstar, and Peavey. I didn't get paid to say any of that :)

My Policy as a musician- I would always be happy to share my knowledge of guitar with anyone who asks politely. However, I will not send you tabs because they are not hard to get and I generally try to use tabs only as a reference not as the main way to learn a song. I will give you tips if you want though! I think that all of you should not ask about what tone or EQ i use because that's me! The funnest part of Rock is finding and creating your own sound! Although 80% percent of what I play (and will soon upload) are covers, I never try to exactly copy another musician. I just play what I think sounds cool. Thank you all very much!
