The graphical differences and negligible. The Saturn offers more depth in terms of gameplay due to the extra features. There's a reason why Capcom needed to release a "RE: Director's Cut" for the PSX ;)

As incredibly innovative and mind blowing this game was, it just wasn't something that was going to catch on in a U.S. market that was obsessed with endless violence, sex, and gore in their games. Such a shame too, as even today it is an absolutely stunning achievement.

Lack of 3rd party support is the only thing that killed the Master System. It was far superior to the NES in pretty much every single aspect, but unfortunately it didn't have the 3rd party support, thus the library of games, to really be competitive.

I had an SMS as a kid and I never knew that Ninja Gaiden came out for it until recently! It looks so much more superior to the NES version that it's mind blowing! The visuals are almost 16 bit quality! It could honestly pass for a Genesis game even!

I remember when I first played RE4, I was PISSED about how much they changed the gameplay. It took me only about 15-20 minutes to fall completely in love with it though. It's not my favorite game of all time.

Easily the most frustrating game I've ever played.
