Every time I get frustrated with my own efforts to fiddle I Youtube Ruby Jane. How inspiring!!!

The pic on this picture is reversed. She is right handed and the chin rest on here fiddle is on the left side of the fiddle. I try to see her every time I go home to Texas.

This small gal can direct many different bands, or perhaps I ought to say collection of musicians. She plays with different groups all the time. What a talent!

I started learning fiddle some months ago. I have the good fortune to attend the Bloomington, Indiana Farmer's Market every Saturday five months a year where there are some wonderful fiddlers coming around busking. But I've never heard one as wonderful as Ruby Jame.

Hurshul Clothier (correct sp) if anyone would look him up. 1953, 54 around there. I gave up my drumming job to Buddy Clothier, and Billy Lane took over from him.

I wish this young woman all the luck in the world. She already has all the musical talent.

This is so terrific. Watch the pros behind her struggling to keep up. This girl was born with music in her heart and head.
