I find the book very revealing, except it is too much like a college textbook...an experienced player can read all the summaries and gain just as much meaningful insight exclusive of reading the book page by page. It has too many detailed examples of actual games.

Personally, IMHO, I think the Silman book on reassessing your chess is like a college textbook, overwhelming somewhat. The summaries do help!
