Any guitar that comes in with very buzzy distortion and lots of reverb is slash's lead. slash recorded a right speaker rhythm track and a number of overdubs and leads that are not panned right or left - they are centered so they will come thru both speakers.

Adlers a million times better than Matt "Drum Machine" Sorum. That solo - if you understand percusion - was way more fun and interesting than anything Sorum did on the UYI tours

I like some of the picks but I think Slash's finest solo is Sweet Child O Mine or the outro to Nightrain (which became a nutty mixolydian thing live).
