That was my only line of hope; and I was thrown into a room and locked in. I thrashed around, only to see that I wasn't alone. I told them to go away even though I was the one trespassing their enclosure. They told me my intrusion was only welcomed despite my manners. They politely didn't ask me to say sorry. Instead they disregarded the alarm.... They left it, unkept and mangy, for the others to see as well. They poked their faces in, all of them, laughing faces. The other didn't seem to mind. I did. Instead I curled in the corner, thinking, blocking out the noise. Ignoring the man in the white coat coming in to inject me with this cursed object that puts me to sleep.
