Do you happen to have any insight on adrenal ferrets? My little River's butt has started to bald so I'm taking her in on Monday to get checked out. If it is adrenal...the internet says that medications and surgery are my only options and without them she'll only have maybe a year left. Have you had adrenal babies? What have you found works best for them? Any insight would be great...this is my first sick baby and I'm kind of freaking out!

Aww :'(, They looked like the sweetest littlest ferrets ever! I just watched the Jack Memorial video, it made me cry! It must be hard to lose one of your beloved ferrets :'( xxx

Valentina - sadly Puck and Roxy passed away last Sep/Oct. Puck suddenly to Lymphoma and Roxy after a year and a half and twice daily meds for her Insulinoma. Also lost Sassy two days after Roxy after she'd been under treatment for Adrenal Disease for nearly a year.

aaa - buy the book "Ferrets For Dummies" and read it COVER TO COVER before considering getting ferrets PLEASE. Link to the book is on this page. And ADOPT - don't buy. There's THOUSANDS of ferrets at shelters since way too many buy them without researching how much work they are.

Ferretz - they sell wood stove pellets at farm/feed stores in 40 lb bags. You can also find them during cooler months at grocery stores, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.
