Robert Rauschenberg were born the 22nd of October 1925 in Texas(Port Arthur). He died quiet recently, 12th of may in 2008. He was a jewish-American artist, and was spoken of as one of the most important artists in the last 50 years of the 1900th century.
Rauschenberg studied art at Black Mountain College in The United States of America. He later said that his teacher, Josef Albers thing for discipline in the art inspired him to do the opposite in his own art.
