I was watching Hee Haw tonight on RFDTV and this very segment was on. Buck makes this old Bakersfield redneck pretty proud of his roots.

The local radio station in my hometown used to use this song in the advertisements for the March Meets at Famoso Raceway back when I was a kid.The sound of thundering top fuelers and the smell of nitromethane,toss in some kickass rock and it's all good.

This was the opener for nearly all of their concerts in the Seventies.It brings back some really righteous memories for me .
