hey i saw your video about being african american, and I see the other girl's point (the one the african girl was arguing with on College Hill). We all technically came from Africa, so aren't we all African, and if we're living in America now, aren't we African American? Somehow that argument doesn't work, so why should the fact that that girl's ancestors 300 years back make her African American? It all goes back to the color of your skin. If she were light skinned enough to say she was American, she would. I just think it's messed up that everyone else regardless of where we came from has to have a hyphenated ethnicity/race. If we're gonna keep on oing that, shouldn't "white people be European-American?
