CEO, and Founder of the Finger Cell Music Group was born in New York City, as Felix N. Colon. The music he writes and produces is directly influenced by the R&B, Hip Hop & Salsa forms that predominate his culture and musical landscape; but interweaving or subtly beneath the surface, in a melody line, a chord progression or a riff, you can hear the echo of Pop, Jazz and even a Classical theme.

His professional performance and appearance as writer, producer, and artist began in an '89 Dance Tour under his then stage name, Boyz In The Lab, to promote the movie; "An Eastside Story", which featured one of his songs, "Fragile Heart", and which he also performed in the film. In '90, Fingerz wrote & produced his second single, "Nightmares of Tomorrow", which hit at number one on the Freestyle Classic of the Month chart in Pennsylvania, and became a club hit in New York, and Miami. In '95, Fingerz released another track for artist Lorenzo D'Lan as writer of "Don't Turn Our Love Away". He also acquired Editor credit for Clear Touch's self-titled debut CD. In '96, a Dance Compilation CD was released entitled: 'Dance Transit' which featured his classic club hit, "Nightmares of Tomorrow".

Throughout his years in the industry, Fingerz had established his DIGITRAX Recording Studio which had released all of his CD's, including "Sextassy Reggae Gold", and "Reggaeton Platinum" in '01, two of his biggest non-promoted CD's for his Finger Cell Music Group company. As a story teller, he has also completed several movie scripts.

His CD, "Phat Fingerz & Co.: A Compilation of One", released in '07, was the first Complete Music Collection written, and produced by Fingerz, and is available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon and other retailers.

A full-length follow-up CD, written & produced by Felix Fingerz; entitled: "Compilation of One: The Sequel", was released in '10, and is available now. While a new single; "Angel of the Night" was also released in '10 for the Boyz In The Lab, with a possible, but uncertain, full-length production project for release in late '12.

Since developing his Finger Cell Studios, a subsidiary of his Finger Cell Music Group company, he's already released several projects for various artists in early '11.

One of his Singles, "Better Than She" - The Remix (feat. GREY), was one of his first dance releases of '11, and is available now on iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Verizon, and several other retailers. He's also released an EP of GREY's "Better Than She", and is available now with 5 remixed versions of the track.

His single from 'Boyz In The Lab', is entitled: "Finally Friday", and is also available now.

One of his 2011, full-length albums, is his all-latin language project; "DIGITAL LATINO: Notas de Ayer", under 'Fingerz & Co.', and is available now on iTunes, and other retailers.

His first Book, "SKELTON", is coming in mid '12. Look for it soon on iBook, Amazon Kindle, and Barnes & Noble NooK.

But notably, his first 2011, Funk/Pop Single; "Future Famous", was specifically written & produced by Fingerz with a message in mind: 'All aspiring artists should never give up their goals and dreams of becoming who, or what they want to be. No matter how long the journey, the achievement is always at the end of that road.'

The full-length project; "Future Famous: the album", is out now, everywhere.

The release of Grey's new single, "Another Weekend Night", was also written & produced by Fingerz, in late '11. His single; "Another Weekend Night -- The ReMix" (feat. Grey), is also available now, everywhere.

His latest, "Why Would I" feat. Angel Solis of 'Clear Touch', is one of the last releases of '11 for Fingerz. His final release of the year will be, "A Christmas Medley" The Holiday Mix. Available Nov., 2011.
