shouldn't the Father (and both parents in some instances) examine themselves as to how their son could become such a reprobate >? He did not just spring up one day and do such an evil action. This underscores the truth in the Bible about providing discipline, guidance and wisdom to children from the very moment of development. The father's unreflective, brutal and swift action also demonstrates a character flaw which they son acquired in the form of deeply flawed judgement
