I live in London, UK. So I am asleep when you are awake and vice-versa! Sorry if that delays things somewhat in our correspondence!

TBH with you, the 'in reality' largely fun Compositions I have published on YouTube thus far represent precisely 1% of my output which includes a Jazz Symphony and precisely 1,376 other works for mixed instruments.

My complete bio is available on Sibelius Music. For those interested, I am published by Universal Edition and recorded by Warner Bros & Meridian Records. I trained at the Royal Academy of Music, London 1978-82.

I am flying to Switzerland in April 2009 to cut an album for which I have composed every single song (music and lyrics). I am collaborating with Jessica Knoll (pop vocalist) and Mike Turtle (drums, production, guru, genius etc.) Links follow:

Here is a quote from Blueyoyi:

Dear Jonathan,

May I thank you a googlezillion for all the encouragement you have been giving me. Being the prolific and fine composer that you are, I am most flattered and honoured.

I have gone through a goodly number of your compositions posted here and frankly I do not quite know what to say! I felt this way the first time I heard Chopin and Beethoven (that my dad is fond of playing). It feels totally different from what Classical Music my ears have been used to these past few years.

My dad says I should also try learning Jazz and Contemporary Music, that is why I have been listening to your compositions...

Thanks again and my very best wishes go to you!

Enzo (young concert pianist)

Here are some random quotes from visitors to my YouTube pages:

I could listen all day to this piece. It just makes the mind float away to somewhere else. Thanks for posting.

Beautiful piece of music, beautiful singer, amazing voice!

I like it. It's very uplifting and fun. It's a really nice piece - very playful.

Really nice piece! I think it exemplifies sunlight very well too!

I like this a lot. I can tell straight away it's one of your own pieces. It moves along with really good chords, but makes me sad and thoughtful at the same time. A bit like watching it pour down with rain outside but being happy to stay indoors and keep dry. Thanks, Jack.

Beautiful melody, amazing composition.

Hi =) So cool that you got a Norwegian Postcard Composition :) This is maybe one of my favorites too :) I really like the way you move through this piece :) This could be a great movietheme or something like that :)

You play this very well. Awsome control - you are very experienced. Thanks for the posting, I enjoyed very much.

Cool and Jazzy. Thanks for posting, Jack.

Awesome playing of a great piece =)

That is a nice piece, but still would love to hear more of your own.

I like the clean way in which you play these Microjazz pieces.

Very nice composition!

Lovely piano playing, nice tune that does make you think of falling raindrops, very well done. 5 stars.

Lovely piece of music, close your eyes and see the raindrops falling:)

Very picturesque. I like what you did with the rhythms - very intricately interwoven.

Beautiful original composition!

Point of interest for trivia lovers: I was never really seriously 'encouraged' to do music. I was 'taught' Piano by without doubt the #1 worst Piano Teacher in the entire history of Piano Teaching for eleven years (LOL !!!) This worked in my favour in the long run because I 'discovered' my true talent = Composition instead! So every cloud has a silver lining!!! I say I was "never" encouraged and I am not joking!! My mother wanted me to work in a bank (even after I had won many Composition Prizes at R.A.M. for 4 years as a Senior Student!) and my father wanted me to go into business. I wonder who has more Google hits? Me, my mother or my father?

Congratulations to parents encouraging their children to try to make a career out of music.

Three Cheers for YouTube!

I only give 5 star ratings - why? Because of "wreckers" who give one star ratings through pure jealousy.

I only publish "raves" in my Channel Comment box. non raves are all dustbinned. Praise the Lord for dustbins! Blueyoyi won the rave debate!

I try to correspond v.fast with people. Esp. helpful people. The more helpful, the faster I correspond!

If you wish to correspond with me via snail mail on the other hand, my address is Mozart House, HA8 7NH, UK.

That really is my address btw and can be used for sending me Xmas cards or signed photos of yourself!

n.b. If you send me a friend invite without subscribing you are living in dreamland! Do you want friends? Then learn how to get them. Life is a journey!

If you have a GSOH you might like my channel #2 - Znethru.

P.S. FeBlandMusic does not Subscribe.

P.S.S. I myself, am not too keen on those Googie ads which spoil people's enjoyment of fun videos!

P.S.S.S. I will take my chances with a SPONSOR.

P.S.S.S.S. No timewaster SPONSORS need apply. I might consider as follows: £20,000 per year for a 5 year World exclusive rising by 20% per year.

P.S.S.S.S.S.S.S. That Sponsor offer will be gradually rising each week (or so) because some of my TRUE FRIENDS appear to have a bit of a shortage in the money department.

Thanks for your comments on Vivian's new video of Tcherepnin: Bagatelle!
Yes, that piece is short enough to be an encore piece, if only Vivian is mature enough to perform at a real concert!

Jonathan! Im in need of your assistance!
I need a musical muse (so to speak)
Last month i did a Chopin study, but now any sheet music I read seems dry and emotionless.

Help?

Cheers
