About Me:
I love animals. We have several pets at home (including a cat that's currently the love of my life, lovebirds, an iguana and a guinea pig). Most of them were rescued or given to us.
In my spare time, I like answering messages I get mainly on YouTube and DeviantART; watching movies that contain some inspiring artistic creativity, an interesting angsty freak character I can try to psychoanalyze (like Gollum), or at least something weird to reflect on; reading fantasy novels, old poetry and psychological stuff; drawing with my little sister, although she's already gotten better than me...
I believe in the God of the Bible, but I don't like calling that religion, since for me it's simply a strong conviction I have and a deep joy in my soul that comes from being at peace with God. When it comes to faith that's powerful enough to change lives from the inside out and logical thinking (because yes, I believe spirituality IS compatible with science and philosophy), I'm totally interested!
But most of all, I just want to be a friend for those who need one and to keep having fun conversations with the ones I have. :)

Spirituality, arts, movies (mostly fantasy, science fiction and animated stuff), literature, psychology, biology, animals, nature... I'm fascinated by too many subjects, really.
Movies:
There are SO many movies I love: The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Pan's Labyrinth, Shutter Island, Hellboy, A Little Princess, Dragonheart, The Neverending Story (only the first one), Labyrinth, TMNT (the 2003 series and the CGI movie), FullMetal Alchemist, Spirited Away, The Prince of Egypt, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, Beauty and the Beast, How to Train your Dragon, Toy Story... and just about all Disney, Pixar and other good animated movies. And also many of Tim Burton's movies, especially The Corpse Bride. The only kinds I usually hate are pointless, gory horror movies and comedies that are too stupid or vulgar.

Why, the sound of my own voice, of course. (It's a joke, my singing is awful!) The Bible, The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Screwtape Letters, Peter Pan and Wendy, A Christmas Carol, I Robot, Farenheit 451, Notre-Dame de Paris, Cyrano de Bergerac, Frankenstein, uh... What else? Except for non-fiction, I watch a lot more movies than I read books, I must say. I wish I had more time to read old classics and all kinds of philosophical and theological studies too, but I'm always busy!

Indeed, I'm a huge fan of Lord of the Rings and all the other Tolkien books, mostly thanks to my brother, he is a huge fan as well and he's the one who insisted I should read the Tolkien books as well :D

Yes, there are a lot of characters in the Silmarillion book indeed, I get the characters mixed up a lot, my brother knows them better (family branches and kings lines etc) and he taught me a lot about Middle-Earth.
