@lunawebs You're not obligated to preserve the OCR results as editable/selectable/searchable text (and in this case it should be obvious why they wouldn't want the text to remain editable) but instead you can convert the text and/or vector elements based on your output settings in Acrobat Pro to ...

If you scan any document directly into Acrobat Pro it OCRs the text and form elements and creates many pieces with clipping paths. There are pieces of text the OCR didn't pick up on and the rest of the text has been exported as a bitmap as per the output settings the user had selected when the do...
