God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful and multiply! Fill the earth and subdue it!

Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box. He also saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. He said, I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. For they all offered their gifts out of their wealth. But she, out of her poverty, put in everything she had to live on.

One thing you still lack. Sell all that you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me. How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! In fact, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.

Owe no one anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except by Gods appointment, and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath of the authorities but also because of your conscience.

You will be brought before kings and governors because of my name. This will be a time for you to serve as witnesses. Therefore be resolved not to rehearse ahead of time how to make your defense. For I will give you the words along with the wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.

Let us live decently as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in discord and jealousy.
