If you play to use the Xbox as a media center or as a hub for old emulators, that should be okay, though.
What burnt CDs do you want to use in your Xbox? I only have one kind of burnt CD I have used in my Xbox (other than music), and that's a Linux distribution, and honestly, the resolution was too low (640x480) for it to be worth the effort. I had more fun putting Linux on my Nintendo DS.
