On the 2nd of June of this year, the swedish band Diablo Swing Orchestra gave a concert in my city, Guadalajara. Having missed their last concert here back in 2010, I just couldn't miss this one... and thankfully I didn't. I did not (still don't) believe that I could describe with words the way that concert changed my life and how thankful I was to them for all the energy they gave us, mexicans, that day. I'm pretty sure that every other person in that concert that night will agree with me on this, the concert was nothing but perfect.

So I thought I'd find a different way to try to say thank you to these guys :) I'm really not sure if this video will even get close to the feeling, but it sure goes further than a simple "Gracias".

There is nothing professional in me that would even get close to the excellence of these musicians, singers and composers. The only professionals involved here to whom I also want to say "Gracias :)" are: My amazing and talented friend, Juan Pablo Hurtado, who took the time to come over to my place, be patient enough to film for a few hours and then edited the video (that I really loved :)). Many thanks to my dad, who with 40 years of experience in music (and who also is one of the best musicians I have ever known) took the challenge of making a different version of a song that is originally metal. And also, of course, thanks to my beautiful husband who was in charge of the audio...microphones, volume, etc. But just him being there watching my happiness grow bigger every day since the day of the D:S:O concert and sharing the happiness with me :) Thank you all three. You really are amazing, and truly talented. I'm definitely not, I just wanted to find the best way to say thank you from the heart and couldn't have done it without your help :)

I'd like to invite people (in case you do not know this band) to check out the links below:
