It took me a while but I got it. Thinks to keep in mind: As soon as you hit the mushroom, make sure you don't let go of 'A' at all; hop shortly after boosting; and go in a straight line but pull back on the joy stick. It's kinda hard to process all that in such a short time but it can be done. ...
