About Unidad Educativa Familia Feliz
Familia Feliz school and orphanage provides a loving Christian home environment for orphaned, abandoned and abused children in the jungles near Rurrenabaque, Beni, Bolivia.
These children learn love, respect, responsibility, how to work and receive a Christian education from grades one to nine. Most important of all, the children - and staff - grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Founded by Melissa "Missy" Harding of Canada in 2006, Familia Feliz currently operates under the umbrella of Gospel Ministries International (GMI).
Volunteers from around the world serve for a few months to a year or more. Volunteer opportunities are available, especially for loving couples who speak Spanish to be house parents and teachers. Other volunteers are needed to help in the garden, maintenance, kitchen and spending time with the children.
