What is prayer? Its more than simply talking to God. Its the channel through which Gods power flows from heaven to earth. Its not trying to convince God to do something or to give Him new ideas. Its about Him changing our hearts to be more like His, and replacing our will with His will. As Jennifer Kennedy Dean of the Praying Life Foundation said, Prayer is simply opening our lives to God, acknowledging our total dependence on Him. It is being open to Him at all times. It is living in the presence of God, always in the process of being reshaped and recreated by Him.

God has made prayer the bridge that connects the spiritual world to the material world. Hes established to release His power through the prayers of us, His children. When we pray, we reach into the spiritual realm (heaven) and grab hold of the will of God for that situation. Then we pull the will of God through the gap [between heaven and earth] and establish it on the earth. (Live a Praying Life)

The Lord has called me to create a place on YouTube where believers can bring their requests and come together in prayer. We are not concerned with HOW God will bring about His will, we have faith in knowing THAT God will bring His will into being. Our prayer is simply, Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in every situation, in Jesus name.
