La band nasce nell'ottobre 2006 proponendo al loro pubblico classici del Power Metal, ma dopo i primi cambi di line-up decidono nel 2008 di avviare l'ambizioso progetto di unico Tributo Avantasia in Europa tutt'ora.
Lo spettacolo che il gruppo riserva ai suoi fans è ricco di emozioni, simpatia e intrattenimento. Le due voci principali, insieme alla base corale regalano un metal a 7 voci raro da trovare altrove.
Parallelamente la band continua a sviluppare la propria impronta musicale per poter presto presentare al pubblico la vera essenza della band.
La musica dei Fading Illusion si riscopre come un'alchimia tra metal melodico e hard rock, qualche goccia di sonorità progressive dando origine ad un sound incisivo ma ricco di sfumature e colori.
L'uscita del loro primo demo è prevista per la Primavera 2011, ma già sul web potete trovare una piccola anticipazione che ha già raccolto pareri totalmente favorevoli da parte del pubblico.
