Faded Silk and Ghosts is dedicated to the old and beautiful cinema of Japan. I hope I can show the youtube community the art once strived for by film industry rather than to turn a profit. It is also born out of my love especially for old Japan and her stories of the past, of war, of ghosts and gods, and of mere daily life. I feel there is something rather special about Japan's old movies that I have not seen elsewhere, they conjure up a very magical and eerie world that captivates.
About Me:
PLEASE NOTE: I used to operate under the channel named BloodyMissB. That account was unfortunately closed and I am working on this one now. I probably will not be able to upload old titles, but some movies found on that account included:

-With Beauty and Sorrow
-the drama Life
-Genji:A Thousand Year Love
-etc.

You share the same passion as I do.
I haven't found anyone yet that appreciates
the Old world movies as I do. I have the greatest collection
of Old Japan films. I too, do not like modern films at all.
I hope to share with you and become a friend...
Blessings to you always...
Kari
It's why people charge $50 to do funny charactatures or compete in contests in music and arts, their art has value, and they know it. They can totally give their things away but it doesn't fill the void of lost time, effort, and creativity. Only the publishers, producers, etc. decide the worth in the media however.
Art might not make money, but it can give you a reason to live, and money won't always do that. ^^
ART DOESN'T MAKE MONEY.
