This channel highlights examples of animated narratives that have been created to demonstrate how primary students can use technology to enhance and reinforce their learning. The examples are based on primary school curricula in Japan, Uganda and/or Australia. Importantly, the examples show that digital literacy can be taught with content simultaneously to provide a more holistic learning experience (as opposed to chunks and segregated learning of discreet subjects) in primary schools.

Future energies
In 2011 second year undergraduate students studying Information Design at Future University Hakodate considered alternative energies for Japan's future. The students conducted a SWOT (Strengths -Weaknesses - Opportunities - Threats) analysis, located facts and sought opinions, compared new ideas with existing energies, obtained feedback, and designed a 3D representation. They had 6 weeks to demonstrate their ideas using Google SketchUp.
