WARNING!!! Reading any further or watching my videos may cause acute episodes of nausea, headache, and severe dizziness for intellectually disabled patients. Long-term exposure to history, science and philosophy is known to stimulate critical thinking which may reduce your ability to believe fairytales. Side effects from improving critical thinking skills may also include involuntary glimpses of reality followed by a complete loss of imaginary friends. If you experience any of these symptoms, or feel your faith weakening, please call your cult leader immediately. Continue at your own risk!
Obviously, I'm NOT a Christian!
Why not? Well let's see....
The most serious and obvious moral shortcoming, right at the heart of Christianity, is its adherence to scape-goating, the primitive idea that blame and punishment for bad behavior can somehow be placed somewhere other than where it belongs. Ancient people used to think they could magically pile all their sins on a goat in a ritual sacrifice to appease their god. Christianity's morally-bankrupt version of scape-goating, the idea that people's sins can be magically forgiven because God sacrifices His Son, who pays retribution for humanity's sins by suffering a painful death on a cross, will ultimately be the downfall of the immoral Christian death cult. Why the fuck can't everyone see how hideously immoral scape-goating is? If you commit a crime, YOU do the time; society would never, under any circumstances, send your son to prison for YOUR crime. Who but a coward with a mental defect would think that's acceptable? If you're a rational human being, you should be able to see how crazy and morally-bankrupt Christianity's plan of salvation really is.
As if Christianity's immoral "plan for salvation" wasn't enough to cause a major crisis of faith, the Bible literally wreaks of epic failure with its abundance of contradictions and utter absurdities.
Have you ever heard Christians say they weren't religious, just spiritual, claiming to have a personal relationship with Jesus? Newsflash for all you Christards: faith = belief = dogma = religion, it's all the same. If you believe Jesus was resurrected, you ARE religious! If you're a Christian with an inability to recognize your own religiosity, you're STUPID as well! Atheism is the antithesis of all religion; atheism doesn't have any crazy dogma. If you want real spirituality, try atheism and have a personal relationship with reality.
Give a man a fish; he'll eat for a day. If he's a friend, teach him how to fish; he'll never go hungry. If the friendship ever sours, give him a Bible and teach him how to pray; he'll give his nets away and starve while praying to his new imaginary friend.
How can anyone really be certain whether there's a god? If we assume there is a god, based upon holy scribblings supposedly inspired by this infallible god, we find ourselves making all sorts of crazy rationalizations for discrepancies, contradictions and absurdities. However, if we assume there is no god, then everything starts to make sense.
The best thing about being an atheist is the intrinsic advantage it gives us. Isn't it always better to embrace the reality of a situation? By simply acknowledging the reality of our godless world, atheists aren't burdened with delusions of imaginary friends and whimsical fantasies of eternal paradise. Atheists aren't compelled to reject empirical evidence for biological evolution because we don't have crazy beliefs to uphold. Atheists are free to embrace future scientific discoveries. Are you?
Not to mock any seriously retarded people, but if you're voluntarily deluding yourself because you refuse to think for yourself, you deserve all the ridicule you get! When you die, the party's over. There is no sky-cake. Get over it!
Why do so many people have such difficulty discerning empirical evidence from assertive assumptions? I think it's because people aren't using their inherent ability to think rationally. And that's precisely why I'm here on Youtube - to help inoculate society from detrimental faith viruses and ultimately move us toward real social justice.
Ideologies aren't just religious either; some are political like those of Republicans or Democrats, and others are socio-economic ideologies like Capitalism or Communism. People instinctively abhor slavery, especially their own; we have to be brainwashed and coerced to accept exploitation. Don't feel bad, we all get brainwashed with some dogma, some of us are just better at recognizing it.
