The Irish Dancers of FSU are a registered student organization here at Florida State University. Formed in fall of 2005, our goal is to instruct beginner dancers (no experience necessary!) in basics, solo dances, and ceilis, and to bring Irish dance to the FSU and Tallahassee community with our advanced dancers' performing company.
In Spring of 2007 we joined the Cosa Meara Company, the first collegiate Irish dance national network. Pronounced 'koh-ssuh mah-ruh,' the name is Gaelic for "Quick Feet." Officially registered student organizations focused on Irish dance may join the network to share the name, logo, and ideals.
Please email the Company to become a recognized branch or join a pre-existent.
