FRAGILE global performance

Can one fragile object, in times of email, chat and mobility, pass one time all around the world safely -- from hand to hand, charging itself with stories and people?
Will it be the same when it returns?

FRAGILE global performance chain journey is a global people project, and more than 750 artists from 62 countries are working together for one of the most elaborate work of Performance art ever attempted, making a vision become reality:
now one fragile object is travelling around the entire globe, carried personally from hand to hand. One artist delivers it to the next one, and each single participant contributes with their art to the project- to make the object return one day to its place of departure, Florence in Italy, intact and charged.

The initiative by Italian-German Performance Artists Duo VestAndPage is supported by a broad international network of artists, organizations and cultural institutions.
FRAGILE  global performance chain journey is not a battle against time, or a 'journey around the world in 80 days'. It will show that it takes time and patience to make a vision become real.
