One other thing, why do so many of those dogs in the video exhibit the "goose rump"? In the bull/terrier breeds an elongated croup is a sign of the dog's athleticism, but it's not supposed to look like the back end is higher than the front. That's probably why they all seem to waddle around the ring like that.

Not hating on the breed (although I do have my personal opinion on the usefulness of an american bully) but I didn't see a single dog in that "slamboree" that exhibited muscle tone or athleticism. As a matter of fact, none of those dogs even stacked as if they had ever been to a show. And the girl in the shorts on the end looks like she is dragging a walrus on a leash. Come to NJ, they're breeeding bullies that are more athletic (or at least showing more athletic bullies). The only dog in that group that looked well balanced was the runt standing in the front of the line.

I am interested in purchasing a blue nose pit for the third time in my 27 years. The previous two that I got at weaning age and kept one 3 years and the other about 4 years have been stolen from me several times. I got fortunate enough to get my pet back twice but the last time I came home and the gate was open, our family pet was gone, I havent seen nor heard from him again. This brings so much sadness to both my children and me because we growned so attached to our big baby; loving, caring, & sharing so many moments & memories together. It is a touchy situation to think of getting another dog, which we again plan to keep as part of our growing family. The only kind I've ever owned, the most beautiful breed of canine alive, in my opinion.
