he was AND is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Triumph was very underated!!! Most guys from that era kinda suck now but he really does still have it and makes it sound good even unplugged

IT WAS WRITTEN BY James Taylor. Elvis did a version of it in his concerts but it was JT that wrote it. It was first introduced on his 1970 album "Sweet Baby James"

I hung out with Kirby from about 3rd grade thru 7th grade. We both played guitar but Im pretty sure he practiced more than me after he moved from StLouis area. He is an amazing musician. I thought I was pretty good, but I am for sure NOT the best guitar player to come from Elm Grove Elementary ...

Anyone who thinks Kirby has no soul is an idiot......this exactly why they have REAL musicians judge this competition. These judges know their stuff. There are 10,000 guys out there who can tear it up like John Mayer(and I think Mayer is vgery talented) but this is real blues and original stuff.....

If you've just discovered Marc Broussard......dig deep into his music. He IS soul!!! Funny how so many people dont know about him. Everytime we do one of his songs, people ask if it is an original.hahahaha Wish I could take credit for it

Is it just me or do they all sound the same....funny thing is, Joe can shred too but pretty much chooses not to on this song because it just doesnt fit. Im not knocking shredders but learn some feel...get some soul.....have more than ONE sound and ONE lick

I totally agree with you on the NO SINGING. If you wanna hear somebody ridiculously good from Austin, check out Monty Montgomery. Plays only an acoustic guitar but you would have no idea if you were not watching video. Tons of vids on youtube but his version(s) of Little Wing are now legendary
