Florida Hospital Altamonte is providing the GetWellNetwork to patients in their new 72 bed patient tower to further engage patients and families in the care experience. Patients now have access to rich patient education, medication databases, full high-speed internet, on-demand movies -- all deigned to empower patients, provide comfort and connect them with family beyond the walls of the hospital.

Altamonte is one of eight hospitals in the Orlando, FL area, all of which make up Florida Hospital. Florida Hospital was founded in 1908 and is one of the largest hospitals in the country, serving more than 1,000,000 patients a year. For the last seven years, Florida Hospital has been recognized as one of the best hospitals in the country by U.S. News and World Report.
