About this user
Originally, Tom Farfalla did the rounds playing festivals and local gigs around Melbourne. After venturing onto the live stage, he decided to put a band together to take his music to the next level.
In 2008, the newly formed Farfalla started playing shows at various venues and festivals where they performed their catchy, melodic, storytelling ballads.
In 2010, Farfalla have seen a lot and grown a lot over the past couple of years. They have had a lot of positive changes and have developed immensely - musically & spiritually.
Niall and Tom have been Playing in and around Melbourne at places, such as: The Espy, The Johnston, YouthFest, and more, supporting Big acts such as Zoophyte, Stealing O'neal, Red Ink and played a couple of awesome gigs with Tassie's own charm - Adam Cousens, as well as headlining quality acts on several acoustic nights.
Farfalla has finally finished producing their new EP ('Dawn of the Golden Parade') and have released it through Itunes, through independent stores around Melbourne, and of course, at gigs for $10 each.
Tasmania was the first to see and hear the EP on Farfalla's 2010 'Down South Tour' with Emmy Bryce. Songs 'Smile' and 'Golden Parade' were heard by Tassie listeners on several radio stations around Tasmania, such as: 'Huon FM' in the Huon Valley, 'Edge Radio' in Hobart and 'Star FM' in St Helens. Farfalla were also seen in several papers such as The Advocate, The Mercury and Source Mag.
The EP has musical influences drawn from; The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Lou Reed, Jeff Buckley, Oasis and more.
