I am recovering from the surgery now. it is a lot harder than i thought it would be :( I cry a lot easier now because i feel like they took my leg away. it's so sad b/c easy things that i took for granted like lifting my leg, i cannot do anymore. I have to work the muscles back. I can't even walk... yet. i have to crutch around. it's like learning how to use your left leg again. tough, hard, sad, depressing. the pain killers help me fall asleep at night. i need those or else my knee just aches nonstop and i end up tossing and turning for a while and crying. no fun. props to people who have gone through any type of surgery because this absolutely SUCKS. I read that i can dance again in like 4-6 months? but easy stuff. not the hard stuff. i have to refind all the muscles in my leg again and learn how to use my leg again. i apparently lost my thigh muscles underneath all the swollenness. so ima try to find those. it's funny because i hated how big my muscles were and after they took off the bandage wrap my leg was thin like i wanted, but i cried because i didn't want it this way. it was scary to see my leg muscles disappear so quickly. now i can't wait to get my thunder thighs back :) im doing good now. just gotta work out my knee to get it back to dancer status. kk, toodles and go out and enjoy life and your beautiful healthy bodies :) im jealous of all you people with able bodies :P
