I dont doubt Chuvalo`s toughness or his chin. He had one of the great chins ever. The rest of their game favors Jerry though. More skilled, quicker not to mention he was a good counterpuncher.
Quarry beat some good fighters himself. Ernie Shavers KO1, Ron Lyle W10, Thad Spencer KO13,...

The Celtics were greater than any Bulls team. That was before expansion. They werent so many weakass teams to pad your record on. The Bulls of the mid 90s would probably win 60+ games but not much more than that. The 80s were too tough,

Foreman knocked out Joe Frazier in less than 2 rounds and he was as tough as they come. Im not sure about the skinny part because Joe weighed the same as Tyson and was even a shade taller. Frazier had power in his own right but Foreman just toyed with him.

He did tarnish his legacy. He shouldve had more disipline between fights. Not letting his weight blow up so much. Look at Manny Pacquiao now he has his fun but he doesnt let his body go. Thats why he can still fight the same way.
I think Duran was able to get away with it at lightw...

Your right Buchanon was a great boxer. Very skilled. The punches he took from Duran throughout that fight wouldve caved in a lesser man. Great toughness. I do think Duran got a little frustrated that he was still there after all that punishment.
This version of Duran was still ver...
@northpoint43m
Agreed. Duran had been the champion all those years. He had earned respect and fought his way to the top the same way the old school fighters did. Leonard by comparision was handed big purses, not that he wasnt a great fighter himself but he didnt have to work his way to the top ...
