About Me:
His focus is to push the boundaries of bass oriented electronic music in new directions, evolving musical genres and fusing them together in ways previously unheard. Explosive Force's music spans a wide spectrum and is intended for both dancefloor and at-home audiences.
E.F.'s hip hop sound is truly unique and shares many of the characteristics of classic drum & bass production as well as having influences from dubstep and trip hop.
Background: Luke grew up in Birmingham in the UK and developed a love for drum & bass when he was 15. He soon began producing hip hop and drum & bass from that point onwards. He relocated to Cardiff and soon became deeply involved in the local D&B scene, performing under the alias Tripwire alongside local DJs including the then up-&-coming star High Contrast (on Hospital Records). From there he spent 8 years in Tokyo and fine tuned his production skills. As of January 2012 he is based in Vancouver.
2012 is set to be a big year with many new releases from Explosive Force bringing a whole new vibe to the table - stay tuned to this channel!
