I always found this piece particularly fitting and apt for the ruined Mall and Jefferson Memorial.

@IcedAtMOsPHEAR You're not missing anything special in the other Xenosaga episodes. They were barely worth the cost in USD.

I can only hope we lowly Americans get a port of the International version on the Vita - which, as always, depends upon how poor the opinion of the Japanese gaming industry is towards Westerners at any given moment.

I cannot imagine this being sued to the Supreme Court by any number of rights groups. It is utter insanity that such a provision was even -considered- for inclusion in the funding bill - and that's the danger of allowing riders in legislation. It was only a matter of time before a fascist eleme...

@theivingmask113 No, this is from the PAL "International" version that was released everywhere but the US. Because presumably Square and Sony have something against Americans (sorry about that nuclear bomb thing, guys).

@BM270musician I don't know what -you're- smoking; 8 had the ignominious honor of being the worst game in the series until 13 puked it's way onto the shelves of electronics retailers world-wide.

@YZB25 And while I fully agree that Westwood had its head up its ass during the development of Tiberian Sun, the characterization of the games under their purview was still a damn sight better than that which has been provided by EA, continuance of the series notwithstanding.

As though playing this mission for the first time hadn't been hard to begin with, getting bull-rushed by that damn Core Defender nearly cost me the game. This track is so very reminiscient of that particular "Oh crap!" moment.

@NiteKat6 Pretty much. A love-letter to long-time fans of the series, with direct references and themes (including large slices of the plot!) culled directly from the eight - at the time - previous installments.

@Kuroneko388 The people responsible for making Xenogears migrated to a company named Monolith Soft, where they made the poorly-received, prematurely-terminated spiritual successor Xenosaga series. They've also made Xenoblade, a Japan-only RPG for the Wii that was not (and will never be) licensed...

I'm probably one of the few people who didn't know the Omega Dungeon existed and went straight for Sin immediately after Zanarkand. Shit was pretty tough having that few sphere levels.

Once, a while back, I heard about how Generals and ZH were heavily censored by the Germans upon release but never knew any of the specifics. Seeing this, well! All I have to say is "lollerskates." Is it any wonder pirating software is such a popular endeavor?
