just so everybody knows, if you're a poolee and you still have not yet made up your mind about joining, you have until your 2 feet touch the famous yellow footprints. but once you sign the papers, you're in whether you like it or not.

@MrMegaWolfeman they are what some would call "promising recruits". they first go through the DEP (Delayed Entry Program) before they ship out to boot. it is during this time that the person that is a poolee must make up their mind if they truly want to go through with being a Marine or not.

@freemacsoft well we have women joining the corps. and the male drill instructors are ill equipped to help a with a woman's needs. so that's why there are female drill instructors. as long as there are women joining, there are going to be female drill instructors. deal with it.

i love how all the sheep (common people) love to complain about the military. but when the wolves (foreign or home dangers) peak their heads in, guess who the sheep go running behind? the only ones that made an oath to protect them, the sheepdogs (the US military)

god why has music come crashing down? people don't even care about the quality of their music anymore. whatever happened to great music? these guys sang from the heart, albeit dorky music, but still great music nonetheless. i believe music has died.
