For everyone out there insisting on primitive thinking and making spontaneous judgments concerning Russia, I am sorry but I will have to disappoint you. Maybe Russia remains as a standard, is its cultural riches, education, history and its traditions. Today there is an established Government. A true one. And no one has the right to judge the actions of Russia because they are not harassing others. Whoever criticizes Putin has to curse Bush. It is illogical to criticize someone who took his country out of deep shit, especially when there was no one else to take over.

Today it is money that control. Almost nobody can count on impartiality and justice, except for the strongest in status and prestige. People see what happens around the world and what is the most concerning thing, is that they do not even try to improve themselves. Because if everybody did that, today humanity would be superior and most advanced both socially and morally in the whole Universe, how funny it may sound.

In my opinion what Russia needs to do now, is to fight the demographics problems. Invest in community needs. This includes new housing, transportation, communication, industrial infrastructure. If for example you manage through mass media to convince all the Moscow province people, living in bad conditions (which is something easy) and promise them standard work in other regions of Russia, like Siberia or deep in Urals, then there would be fair population distribution across the whole country. Social education and mass media, founded by the government CAN increase social factors by multiple times. What Russia needs is a minimum 350 million population, which could update the whole country industry, thus increasing productivity, thus increasing the GDP, thus opening new worldwide marketing horizons, thus getting the country to the top of the top. Russia is still a military superpower and one of the largest providers of natural resources worldwide. If Russians really manage to prove that they can rely fully on themselves and provide themselves with everything, the respect towards Russia overall will increase undoubtedly.

Remember:

"The most wise use of your power is when you keep it unused." Keep that in mind and know that this is what Russia does.

As far as U.S.S.R. is concerned, I will only add that it was the best of the best. Those who claim that Soviet Union is an evil empire, means that they simply have never been to there. And by the way, whoever thinks U.S.A. could beat U.S.S.R., there is sth that should concern you. The Soviet Union military GDP was 15 %. Some four times more than U.S.A. expenditure today. Not to mention that Soviet Union, let alone had more Nuclear Offensive Weapons than U.S. and N.A.T.O. taken as a whole, so shut the fuck up.
