From the looks of it this exige s is a little bit longer and wider than the one it replaces. You would have to assume Lotus put many hrs of work into making it handle as good as or better than the 4 cyl exige. And this one breaks the 4 second barrier as well. Fingers crossed it co...

I would be surprised if you didn't whip both cars considering the elise is a s1 with the underpowered rover engine and the poor old porsche is probably twice the weight. Thats why the caterham, atom etc are such great cars.

I can't wait to buy this re-release. I bought one back in 88 for around $360AUD and loved it. The improvements tamiya have done on the re-release should make it a strong seller.

That is one fine looking mr2, you just need to get the v12 from a bmw to get the sound. Very good job though.

How much extra weight does this mod add? You could make it alot easier on the back by installing some gas struts. Good idea though.

The match up was fine by me cause it showed how 2 cars with nearly identical power outputs performed against each other when the caddy weighed 1000pounds more. Even though the caddy had a blower and 151lb/ft more torque the extra lard was just too much.
