@kos Incidentally, in the event that Ireland is one day unified, it would be interesting to see your reaction: whether you would simply accept it as a part of the "holistic unity of nations", or whether you would spin 180 degrees and demand that the unification be reversed.

@Spreadspectrum59 That's so, I'm merely pointing out that the Dal Riada ("Scotti") were Irish raiders who in the south and west of Scotland assimilated the Picts into their culture. Still, Gaelic or Pictish, we're all Celtic. Cheers =)

I am, first and foremost, a servant and follower of Jesus Christ, whose blood has washed me when I could not do so for myself. For those who read this, if you have never made a decision to follow Christ as Lord and Savior, then I encourage you "Today if you hear His voice, harden not your hearts"(Hebrews 3:7-8)I believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God and that Its teachings are relevant in every aspect of life.
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
I am mostly Old Irish by descent, and have a very strong love for the Nation of Ireland, and for all my Celtic brothers the world over. I support an independent and united Ireland, based not on differences of doctrine between Catholic and Protestant, but on the common name of a True Irishman, and this goal is to be met not through cruelty or wanton violence but by the principles of liberty and justice for all,
"For Freedom comes from God's right hand
and needs a Godly train.
And Righteous men must make Ireland
A Nation Once Again."
Sábhála Dia na hÉireann!
@rankoradovanov Actually, a better translation would be "Land of the Young" or "Land of Youth".
Cheers:)
