An Ex-Muslim and damn proud, after it took so many things away from me, my child , my country, my value as an equal human being...NOT ANY MORE.ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
About Me:
Experiencing my relatives arrested and killed by the regime as political prisoners 20 years ago, I felt like a part of me had died.
Working as a nurse during the Iran-Iraq war created so many memories, some sad & some sweet, that are never going to be forgotten. But now, I'm finally able to celebrate being here, being an Iranian and being a woman, a free woman, in the true sense of it. I love so many people and fortunate to have people that love me but my ONE & ONLY true love, is our Creator. I cherish the biggest gift ever given to me, LIFE and I try to respect and love everything created by him.
I left Iran in my late twenties to live in the US, not because I was fascinated by the Western life style. It was simply exhaustion of having to deal with war, revolution, persecutions and massacres,an increasingly inequality systematically being imposed on the women,...but to my absolute shock, living in US did not turned out the way I was hoping for.I was stunned to face such unhealthy life style.I was so saddened to see the people trying to find happiness, buying more and more 'stuff', that they don't even need and is not going to bring them happiness. It was so sad to see a society that was trained by the system that the bigger is better and my trained eyes as a nurse, was shocked and concerned to see so many over weight people, that their health has been consumed by the chain restaurants, in the exchange for a super size very unhealthy meal 'bargain'.I hated going to the big shopping malls, since I don't buy anything unless I need it and I cherish that thing as long as it serves me and pass it along to someone else, once I don't use it any more.Don't get me wrong,I'm a woman and love to shop, but if you want to torture me, send me to a shopping mall. The bigger the shopping mall, the greater my agony there.I like to buy things from local stores, from the people that I know.I left US for good after a few years, with my heart filled with prayers and hope for the Americans to realize things are very wrong there and they deserve much better.I don't like US government since because of its policies, my people have been paying a very heavy price, but I love the Americans, just like most of the people that I love and I do hope their situation is going to be better...much better. The world and its inhabitants,is an inter-connected entity, and the betterment in any part of it, has a positive impact on the whole.
My heart is beating for my beloved country, Iran and I'm hoping for a day that all Iranians, can be free and feel free & equal, in their own country.
I love my second home Canada as well and I have so much gratitude for all it has tought & given me.
I owe it to the Iranians inside, to use the freedom that I have here, to create awareness about what's been happening in Iran. Witnessing the recent events in Iran, it's become one of my missions in life.
I love and worship every sentimeter of 1,648,195 KM2 of its soil with the beautiful diversity it has. All its ethnicities from Kurd to Azeri, Balooch, Lur, Persian, Arab, Gilaki, Mazandarani, Turkmen, I love them all. We are going to make a much better future for all of us.

بنى آدم اعضای یک پیکرند
که در آفرینش ز یک گوهرند
چو عضوى به درد آورد روزگار
دگر عضوها را نماند قرار
تو کز محنت دیگران بی غمی
نشاید که نامت نهند آدمی
For Neda Agha-Soltan:
You are neither dead, nor will you die.
You will always remain alive.
You have an eternal existence.
You are the voice of the people of Iran.

I'm really sad about this and I hope everyone working with/for the regime understands that a criminal regime might come for you and your family members too, any given second.the ONLY way for us is to work together and REMOVE this criminal regime.
According to reports received by Kalameh, the heating system in Evin prison has not been working recently due to a lack of heating fuel, thus creating an unbearable condition for the prisoners.
In the last few days the prisoners have had to use cold water for taking showers.
It should be noted that the political prisoners in Wards 209, 350, 2-A and the women's political prisoner ward, already were under harsher condition then the regular prisoners.
Happy Birthday Neda.I wish you only knew how many hearts are captured in every strand of your hair my beloved Neda...I celebrate the day that you came to this world and I'm forever grateful for your bravery that inspired us to fight for freedom for Iran.Much love from the bottom of my heart ...
