Founded in 1990, Human Race is a professional event management agency specialising in staging multisport events, typically organising over 30 a year. These include triathlon, duathlon, scootathlon, aquathlon, open water swimming, training events as well as single sport races, especially in running. Human Race also organised the acclaimed Commonwealth Games Triathlon in Manchester in 2002 which has led to the development of the annual ITU World Cup Triathlon, on the BBC, over the same course in Salford.
