I make games since begin October 2006. My first game was "Soldier Wars", which is actually a pretty good game for your first one (www.yoyogames.com/games/show/
Since September 24th (2009) I'm working with an other game engine: Leadwerks(.com). This engine is way more powerful in 3D than Game Maker so I can develop my skills way more. You can still ask me Game Maker questions though. ^^
