FAQ(I'll add more later):
Q:How old are you?
A: 17, unfortunately I'm going to college next year; I'm not ready yet!
Q: Are you self taught?
A: For almost 7 years yes. About 5 months ago I started classical lessons because I have a lot to catch up on if I want to make it into a music program in college.
Q: How long have you been playing guitar?
A: 7 years altogether; 4 years of non-serious playing power chords on electric and 3 years of actually serious playing on acoustic.
Q: Equipment?
A: Steel string guitar is a handmade L'arrivee; a treasured gift from my uncle Mitchell. I'm not sure on the model as it doesn't indicate so in the soundhole. I use Elixir Phosphor Bronze, Light Gauge Strings. Mic is Blue Yeti. Audacity and REAPER to edit audio and do simple mixing.
Q: Do you take requests/Can you play ___?
A: I'm horrible with requests. I say I will get them done but I don't even think to start working on them for months after I'm asked. If you are okay with this, then feel free to request, but just don't expect it for a while ^^;...
Q: Sheets? Tabs?
A: Usually, no (I will post on my blog if I have them). Sheet music costs $ and free tabs are usually inaccurate. Learning by ear is free and improves your listening!
