About Me:
I just want to say it's very nice that so many of you were kind enough to subscribe. Friends matter most though! THANK YOU to everyone who has befriended me here. I wish you all the very best!
There are 3 types of channels I will no longer consider subbing to. ONE: general vlogging channels. Unless the channel has a slant of special interest to me personally, I have listened to enough talking, thank you. TWO: Channels with kids singing along to recordings of people I don't listen to in the first place. I certainly don't want to discourage any of these kids, but I just can't take another video like that, sorry. THREE: political (especially USA) current events channels. The amount of in-fighting that goes on between these critters is enough to make your head spin. I have put up with all the finger-pointing and name-calling I'm prepared to tolerate. See the rest of my rant below for an extrapolation of my viewpoint on this. Thanks.
I like to keep things positive. I'm not here to fight or engage in mind games. I like to be inclusive. I will be friends with most people. I like to encourage and inspire others. However, this must be said in no uncertain terms: if you post abuse on my page, or attempt to involve me in a smear campaign against another human being or group, you will not only lose me as a Friend, I will automatically block you. I no longer waste my time attempting to reason with haters. I am disappointed that there is so much cruelty and selfish immaturity permeating the Internet in general, and YouTube specifically. People need to know that I will not let them involve me in this. If you have time to make a video attacking another human being then you have too much time on your hands and I cannot respect you. I think some of the people using this website need to do some heavy soul searching, get unglued from their computer screens, and get out into their communities and do something selfless for others on a regular basis. People who do nothing but sit on their arse and complain are part of the problem. Be part of the solution. Get out there! Do something! GET BUSY! We are all in this together and your fellow man needs your help now. I hate to have to put it so bluntly but there it is.
Country:
Canada
Hobbies:
Like many of us I have been re-thinking how I use my time. Going back to basics: making my life as quiet and peaceful as possible so my mind suffers no unnecessary agitation. Choosing my pursuits more prudently. Doing tangible things in my community like volunteering at the food bank. Seems like only yesterday, I was doing things for the fun of it. I no longer own a television set, which has allowed me to take up real hobbies again. I enjoy things like making candles, various crafts, etc. I don't dabble in video making much anymore due to the inadequacies of my PC.
Movies:
My alltime fave film is Frank Capra's masterpiece Lost Horizon [1937]. I'm also very fond of Meetings With Remarkable Men. In truth, I love films, but lately I have little time for them. Real life is so much more important and interesting. Experiencing life vicariously via "entertainment" doesn't satisfy me. Be careful what you put into your own mind. Beware the entertainment they serve up for us. Keep making videos!
Music:
I need to listen to music sparingly, interspersed with generous intervals of silence. I'm wary of current popular music, it's not only poor quality but virtually all of it is NWO controlled. Notice how much music out there has a negative, mournful tone? So-called love songs in particular. It's toxic manipulation to keep us locked in low emotions. That's not what music was meant to do for us. The music that makes your spirit soar, that fills you with joy of life, that's the right music.
Books:
I enjoy biographies and memoirs. Also classic literature and poetry. A Romance Of Two Worlds. Parzival. Great Expectations. Etc. I went through a big Rumi phase about 20 years ago. I used to read a great deal more non-fiction, mostly anthropology type stuff. I enjoy the occasional author on psychology, like Alexander Lowen. For some great copyright-free reading, google The Online Books Page. Don't forget to check for texts when you visit The Internet Archive.

as for movies, - even if they're ood, it's someone else's dream. I want to concentrate on ME, not Paris Hilton's life!
yes, i notice how bland currant pop music is! And where are the new ideas? Kids now days just take what's given them & don't question anything (except the punks).
Say no to the chip! dream on~ and wake up! ~peace & love, cherry
